Créé dans les années 80, SORTILÈGE, considéré comme la nouvelle sensation des la scène Metal française, réalise un EP éponyme et les albums, Métamorphose et Larmes de Héros qui sont devenus Cultes. Après quatre années de tournées, concerts et festivals en Europe, le groupe met un terme à sa carrière. Plus de trente ans après, SORTILÈGE renait de ses cendres lors du festival Keep It True où il joue en tête d’affiche.
Suite à cela, il signe un contrat d’artiste avec Verycords (Distribution Warner). Phoenix est le premier album enregistré avec le nouveau line-up. Il contient douze classiques remaniés et deux nouveaux titres. L’album sort en août 2021 et rencontre un immense succès auprès des fans et des médias.
De 2019 à 2022, les concerts s’enchainent en Europe (Grèce, Suède, Allemagne, Belgique…), 70 000 Tons of Metal, Elysée Montmartre, Mainstage du HellFest. Le public et la presse saluent unanimement le retour du groupe.
Début 2022 commence l’enregistrement du deuxième album, Apocalypso. Il contient dix nouveaux titres, avec la participation sur certains d’invités prestigieux, Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), Kevin Codfert, Zaher Zorgati, Malek Ben Arbia (Myrath).
2023
Le groupe enregistre un DVD live à Vauréal le 27 janvier dont la sortie est prévue à l’automne prochain.
Apocalypso sort le 3 mars avec une distribution internationale (Season Of Mist). Cet album est très largement salué par les fans et les médias, notamment à l’international : Rockhard Fr, Rockhard De, Blabbermouth Usa, Deaf Forever De, Rolling Stone Fr et bien d’autres !
Le clip Vampire sort sur les plateformes quelques jours après l’album dont il est issu.
Le groupe sera de retour sur scène à partir d’août 2023 pour la tournée Apocalypso.

Born in the 80s and considered at that time the new sensation of the french heavy metal scene, Sortilège releases a self-titled EP as well as the records Métamorphose and Larmes de Héros, which have become cult albums. After four years of touring, concerts and european festivals, the band ends up its carrier. More than thirty years later, Sortilège rises up from its ashes during the Keep It True festival, performing as the headliner.

Then, the band signs a contract with Verycords (warner distribution). Phoenix is the first album recorded with the new line-up. It includes twelve re-recorded classic songs as well as two brand new songs. This album is released in august 2021 and is very well received by fans and medias.
From 2019 to 2022, the band gives a series of concerts in Europe (Grece, Sweden, Germany, Belgium…), among them, the 70 000 tons of metal cruise, the Elysée Montmartre and the Hellfest’s mainstage. Fans and medias unanimously hail the return of the band.
In early 2022 the recording of the second album Apocalypso begins. It includes ten brand news songs and offer various prestigious featurings on some of them: Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), Kevin Codfert, Zaher Zorgati, Malek Ben Arbia (Myrath).
2023
The band records a live DVD during their concert in Vaureal, on January the 27th, which is due next fall.
Apocalypso is released on March the third with an international distribution (season of mist). This album is highly apreciated by fans and medias, including abroad: Rockhard FR, Rockhard DE, Blabbermouth USA, Deaf Forever DE, Rolling Stone FR, and many more.
The video of Vampire is released a few days after the release of the album Apocalypso.
The band will be back on stage from august 2023 for the new apocalypso tour.
